Experienced software engineer with a decade of hands-on expertise in code quality, team leadership, and collaboration
My name is Breno Moura, and I wanted to reach out to express my interest in joining your team. With over a decade of experience in software development, I have gained valuable expertise in various technologies while overcoming different challenges. Moreover, I have had the privilege of leading teams and individuals, a role that has always come naturally to me.
Throughout my career at Jaya Tech, I have embraced leadership positions since 2015 and, in 2017, after multiple contributions and effective collaboration with the customer's product team, their head of product indicated me to be the Tech Leader to build a new telemedicine product from the ground up. I actively contributed to assembling a team, defining the product, coding, establishing timelines, gathering client requirements, and prioritizing tasks. Fostering the growth and development of my team members has been a rewarding aspect of my leadership journey, which I achieved through regular one-on-one meetings, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
In 2020, I undertook another significant role as a leader, leading the successful implementation of the Pix system (an instant payment system introduced by the Central Bank of Brazil, allowing for immediate and secure transactions, such as transfers and payments, 24/7.) for Stone Payments. This endeavor required deep immersion into the regulatory norms of Brazil's Central Bank, effective collaboration with backend, frontend, mobile teams and DevOps teams, and meticulous management of deadlines and expectations. The project was delivered within a remarkable four-month timeframe.
Following my tenure at Stone, I assumed the position of Engineering Manager at Telnyx, where I directly led two teams responsible for different products. In this role, I actively participated in technical and architectural decision-making, devised growth plans for team members, and close collaboration with Product Owners and directors to ensure alignment and support team progression. Additionally, I facilitated open communication, identified and addressed obstacles, and maintained a consistent feedback loop to optimize customer satisfaction.
In September 2022, I received an invitation to return to Jaya Tech, this time to contribute to a new branch in the United States. This opportunity allowed me to play a pivotal role in motivating and empowering the development teams conducting individual meetings with developers of diverse experience levels, working on various projects by establishing growth plans, and creating a positive work environment.
Additionally, I actively participated in defining and executing strategic objectives, developing internal automation tools, shaping the onboarding process, and contributing hands-on to the company's internal product, Eleminder.
