Working as the technical representative of a Dutch company for all their customers in the Americas. Since we offer a lot of customization, these actives vary depending on the customer's needs. For customers using our API, I change the output so that it returns JSON or XML files and edit the metadata so that it returns the fields the customer wants. For customers with full integrations, I edit the HTML, CSS or environment files to accommodate the customer's needs. I also manage users on our customer's accounts. Meanwhile, I’m always writing automation scripts in Python to deploy in Jenkins to speed up my teamwork.

Overseeing automation tasks in migration projects. It started with shell scripting for both Windows and Linux servers for simple tasks. Python was used for more complicated automation tasks. These scripts were project-dependent and varied from changing IPs in bulk to making security checks to cross-referencing data to find lost servers. Pre-migration tasks started with establishing a connection with the client’s network. The next step involved scanning Windows, Linux and AIX servers. The information was then uploaded to a DB2 database. The information was then pulled to create reports that helped see an overview of the networking, performance and middleware. The reports generated were used to design the best way to carry the migration. Finally, servers were set up to have the same hardware specification to make migration feel seamless to the client. AWS or VMware was used to set up and manage the migrations.
