Challenge: Make a real-time currency update considering the fact, that I don't receive a callback from our exchangers-partners. Solution: I created a service that parses a rate file of exchangers every thirty seconds and depending on the number of exchangers it scales the number of threads Challenge: Aggregation and writing of a large amount of the transaction Solution: BigQuery was picked over AWS Redshift as the latter is more expensive Responsibilities: - Build back-end architecture from scratch (responsible for all architecture solutions on the project) - Lambda function deploy - AWS infrastructure setup and deploy - Socket.IO integration - Complex data aggregation - Set up the entire deployment process - CI/CD using CodeBuild - Third-party services integration - Communication with frontend team - Code review

Challenges: I run into the total incompetence of blockchain Flow developers on the project. I was tightly communicating with our blockchain developer because we were using Flow API, written on Golang and the developer had extremely superficial knowledge in software engineering Flow API rework (written on Golang) to make it send a callback when a transaction is finished. The app consists of seven microservices and three npm packages which were deployed to Kubernetes since we planned horizontal scaling later on. The whole infrastructure was deployed by me on AWS.
