Ibis Dev, Argentina/France
Migrate a .NET application to Node JS (Express) and React.
Responsibilities & achievements
• Understand requirements, create Epics with their respective Tickets in Jira, handle issues with client. • The biggest issue was that the previous application was using Firebird as a DB, and Node support and community wasn't as good as it is with other DBs, like Mongo, MySQL, PostgresQL, SQLite, etc. • Since the database was not going to be migrated (client decision), some things had to be changed by the client programmer since the database admin was not in his power. • Constant and daily contact with client. • Deal with deadlines, schedules, business meetings. • Create projects from start.

Telecentro, Argentina
Because of Covid-19, remote work became a must. The company received a lot of new customers, around a 30% increase, and with them, the service wasn't working properly because the hardware in charge of providing it to work efficiently was being overwhelmed. So Even though each customer had an address, not all buildings were provided by the same hardware, so addresses weren't enough to determine a building failure.
Responsibilities & achievements
• He was in charge of creating a full application for the logistic department, to be able to determine what buildings are most affected, in order to prioritize the fixes. • Also data wasn't easily obtained through APIs, and I had to make workarounds with SNMP and SSH. • Normalizing DBs. • Debuging and rewriting code for better performance and comprehension. • Migrating "Old style" PHP/HTML webs with an MVC design with modern frameworks. • Create the front, back, and deploy in a physical server. It was an urgency project and he was able to complete it in 1 week.

Pedraza Viajes y Turismo, Argentina
Optimize performance across the whole application.
Responsibilities & achievements
• Bug hunt in performance and aesthetic issues. There were such things as a user making N requests based on N instances of class. So having 10000 instances meant 10000 requests. The problem was that everything was built fetching the database once per id, instead of making an eager loading searching all related records from that particular user. • Migrate plain HTML + jQuery + PHP applications to React (with class components at the time) or Angular, since some deployers worked only with Angular. • Creating clear APIs. • Optimizing time/space complexity algorithms. • Reorganizing queries to minimize server requests.
