Responsibilities & achievements

- Built the backend services for a SaaS using a micro services architecture mostly in Node (Javascript). - Worked with product managers to re-architect an existing platform to accommodate for additionalfeatures that weren’t possible in the old platform allowing a wider set of use cases. - Created a set of libraries in JavaScript to enhance the scripting capabilities of the platform with Lua. - Established a CI/CD pipeline for different projects using Bitbucket Pipelines. - Presented multiple proofs of concepts that ended up as features in the company main application

- Create solutions for warehouse operations, from web applications to batch scripts to process data. - Migrate existing web applications to a more maintainable MVC pattern using Python Django. - Manage the production application server (Linux CentOS) and the database server (MySQL). - Acted as the technical lead for two other junior developers in the team.
