Life insurance market

Sep `22 - Dec `21

sulAmerica (At Thera company)

When I worked at Thera, I went back to work in the life insurance market, this time for the company sulAmerica for an app development.

Responsibilities & achievements

My job was to rebuild a legacy app that had been made in Ionic 1 and bring it to Ionic 5 at the time. And also make a web version using angular 10+ for the app in addition to a dashboard for the admins. I was in charge of working on the web part first, creating a basic layout that was later improved by Thera's designer. After the web part was ready, I was assigned to help the mobile team, using Ionic 5 and capacitor 2 to create the necessary native functions (camera, geolocation, and fingerprint auth).

Responsibilities & achievements

My job, together with a team of 5 people, is to create and maintain a dashboard made in Angular that manages all the bets created by the users, manages and creates the matches that can receive bets, and generate an analytics page with the data of every weekend of games and some other functions.

KM advantages webApp.

Feb `20 - Sep `22

3 years

CSP/Ipiranga

During my time at CSP, I was assigned to update Ipiranga's KM advantages webApp.

Responsibilities & achievements

The web was still in AngularJS, so I had to rewrite a good part of the code for the new Angular, such as headers, cards, login functions, etc. The backend was up to date so I just focused on the front. The angular that was chosen wasAngular 9, later updated to Angular 10.

Insurance app.

Sep `19 - Dec `19

3 months

Prudential (At Ebix Latin)

While at Ebix I worked for their client Prudential, a life insurance company. My job was boiled down to creating an app to help brokers sell insurance.

Responsibilities & achievements

The whole team had 16 people, 8 for the backend, 4 for one version of the app, and 4 for the other. I was on the first version, the user-oriented version straight from Prudential. I had some complications during development due to Prudential's high level of security, but other than that, development on Ionic 5 went well until my stay at Prudential. My activities were more focused on the logical part of the app, such as redirecting routes, calculating plan values, sending and synchronizing with the backend, etc.

IMAG app projects

Dec `16 - Sep `17

9 months

IMAG

The startup IMAG hired me to develop 2 applications aimed at the medical sector. One of them was focused on the X-ray part, in the case of evaluating X-ray exams, classifying them as valid or not, age of the patient, which part of the body the Xray was taken, etc. All this data would go to the hospital server where it would stay there until it was no longer needed. The other would serve to evaluate and designate the best treatment for pressure ulcers. The nurse should take a photo of the place, quickly classify the photo (Patient's gender, approximate age, approximate height, and approximate weight), and send the photo to the hospital server, from which an AI developed by IMAgwould be running to identify the ulcer and recommend the best treatment. After a few months, the plan was that the AI would be ready to send treatments just by seeing the patient's photo, without the need to enter the patients case description.

Responsibilities & achievements

Frontend development using Angular and AI.
