Responsibilities & achievements
My contribution to ShiftPixy covers different applications and backend products that enabled the automation of the onboarding process for new hires, tax data registration for different state regulations. These products were built using NodeJS, Express, TypeScript, Serverless, AWS Lambda, Event Bridge, Secret Manager, Route 53 and CloudWatch. Always receiving good feedback from the client in every assignment. It was a challenge for me to migrate a legacy service written in Golang. The stack for this new service consists of NESTJS, TYPESCRIPT, NODEJS, and MONGODB. In this new implementation, heavy logic has been optimized for data transformations and big queries, resulting in a 40% reduction in response time.

Designing a scalable API implemented with NodeJS, GraphQL, Docker and AWS Services such as DocumentDB, Fargate, Lambda, SNS and S3.

Genbby is a platform where you can generate income with your favorite videogame. Our mission consists that any gamer can earn money no matter what level or skill someone has in the videogame.
Responsibilities & achievements
Leading the IT team in charge of implementing the company's MVP. The challenge of achieving the company's vision was to be able to integrate with some of the most popular video games (Dota2, CSGO, Fortnite and LoL) with our services, allowing a process of competition through the Genbby platform. Encouraging straightforward communication, establishing clear goals for the team but keeping independence for each member to get the job done. As a software engineer, I assumed the challenge of integrating the company’s services with the targeted video games. This task involved a lot of research and a scalable architecture. A communications standardization layer was required to support the different types of integrations implemented, a desktop application written in C #, registration of custom protocols, among other tools. The company’s MVP was completed and tested on real scenarios with positive results, the scaling strategy was also tested with good results, allowing the startup to start with the funding search stage.
