My responsibility has been focused on the Mercado Libre marketplace module, specifically in the fashion sector, one of the most important of the entire platform. By means of Machine Learning APIs, recommendations are generated for users once they have selected one or more garments of their interest. By analyzing the images of the garments, the system is able to return recommendations with similar items.

For this project a serverless architecture was built at the backend level to implement the various integrations with external APIs. Design of a serverless software architecture deployed in the Google cloud with low-cost auto-scaling capabilities. Development of Google Functions using .NET Core. Team of 5 people.

I was part of the development team in the backend area, working with .NET Core, Entity Framework and SQL Server, using a hexagonal software architecture. Deployments were done on premise over IIS. The objective of this project was to create an internal tool for Pevaar's human resources management, which would allow employees to request vacations, authorizations and documents such as payroll vouchers. The platform also allowed to manage the benefits offered by the company and the existing positions. I worked with another person on this project.

I worked on the frontend and backend development of a web application that was used to manage the sale of fire alarms. I also made contributions in the design of the N-Layer architecture for the project. The team consisted of 4 people in total, 2 senior and 2 junior developers.

I was a student ambassador for Iron Hacks at Purdue University thanks to my high performance in the subject Software Engineering. In this position I had the opportunity to be a tutor for the teams participating in the Iron Hacks programming competition in an alliance between Purdue University and the National University of Colombia. This position had a salary remuneration in US dollars.
