I led the backend development of automated market-makers at EMDX decentralized exchange, building a set of APIs and high performance scalable microservices that handled tasks such as price-tracking of derivatives markets and margin management of perpetual futures positions across multiple Automated Market Makers (AMMs) smart contracts running on three different EVM-enabled blockchains (Ethereum, Avalanche and RSK).

I also focused on operational cost optimization to reduce network fees while ensuring uninterrupted 24/7 operation through robust error handling and custom JSON logging tools designed to monitor the resource consumption of 16 Docker containers. The produced logs were stored in MongoDB collections using Grafana for statistical analysis and visualization or integrated with Datadog for alerts. Each of these containers also featured a custom SSH server and a lightweight HTTP server to allow remote management via a SSH command line client or a web frontend interface.

This local startup intended to create a brand-centric e-commerce platform, accessible through mobile and web, with a strong focus on user geolocation. I developed their Android app using cloud storage for user profiles, images of products inventory, and integrated MercadoPago payment service for credit or debit card transactions. The core programming language was Java using Android Studio IDE and Google Firebase cloud services for user authentication, push notifications, and data storage on their NoSQL database.

GRASSIUS development, deployment and database migration. Worked as part of the research team that developed GRASSIUS web server, a public knowledgebase that allows search and submission of pre-sequenced proteins and transcription factors of biodiesel related plants species.
