I am a software engineer with extensive experience in various software frameworks and intelligent process automation.

- I have led successful RPA projects in some of Ecuador's largest financial institutions using the most popular tools in the market. These projects involved intelligent automation in various areas like collections, IT, operations, and accounting, among others. As a result, each institution now has a small Center of Excellence. - I used my research skills to write an article on how software and mobile apps can benefit those with motor disabilities. Along with the article, I also created a web catalog of apps that used advanced technology at the time. This BOT operates within an insurance company and performs the following activities: it receives medical information from beneficiaries in PDF format, and extracts relevant information such as pre-existing conditions, dependents, and other data. Once the robot has the necessary information, it activates a decision-making engine to determine if a medical audit is required. If an audit is necessary, the BOT creates a ticket in Zendesk using a RESTful web API service. Finally, it sends an email to the operations department indicating the number of audits reported during the day. The technology used was Automation Anywhere.

Information collection from external sources

The BOT accesses the websites of public entities that do not have web services, and the only way to extract information is through their graphical interface. It searches for information based on a date range and downloads it. Once the information is downloaded, the BOT places it in an Azure cloud Datawarehouse so that all areas that consume the information can access it. The BOT is capable of solving second-generation CAPTCHAs on some of the pages. The technology used was Automation Anywhere.

Credit Card Reconciliations

The BOT extracts transactional information from two sources: the bank's accounting system and the credit card processing system. Once both types of information are downloaded, it begins reconciling the transactions based on parameters such as date, concept, total amount, and card brand type. Upon completing the reconciliation, the BOT generates accounting reports and uploads them to the core banking system. This process is performed daily at a specific time. Credit Application Data Entry

The application included identification documents and collateral documents, so the BOT had to extract this data and then record it in the core banking system. Once registered in the core banking system, the BOT accessed the ticketing system and reported that the credit application was ready to proceed to the disbursement phase. Investigation of legal proceedings to open an account

The BOT detects user account opening requests and their personal identification information. Once it extracts that information, it accesses the websites of 'La función judicial del Ecuador' and the 'Superintendencia de Bancos' to verify if the user has active legal claims or a history of legal issues. The results are then provided to advisors through IBM BAW for further processing during the onboarding process. The technology used was Automation Anywhere.

Invoice and withholding voucher entry into SAP Business One.

A BOT that downloads native and digital PDF documents from different branches of the business. Then, a Python script extracts all the information from the PDFs and stores it in a DATA FRAME. The BOT accesses SAP BUSINESS 1 and begins to link the system's invoices with the withholding vouchers from which the information was extracted. Once the process is completed, the BOT sends an email confirming the number of successful records and cases that require human review.

An autonomous BOT that downloads retention vouchers in XML format from 'SISTEMA DE RENTAS INTERNAS DEL ECUADOR'. It extracts the information from the vouchers and enters all the fields into the company's accounting system using SQL statements that perform 'INSERTS' into Oracle databases. The RPA tool used was UiPath.
