Using PYTHON the app gets from the BANXICO API the historical data and the latest values for instruments such as CETES, BONDIA and UDIs. And those information was transform into helpful data and was used for calculating the backtesting of the investment given an amount and period of time. Once the calculation was done it was stored in a database (MySQL) in order to track the results for each customer. The API end point was created using DJANGO rest framework for shown the calculation to the front end. During the project several UnitTesting was done for testing the functions of the module and behavioural testing for the API endpoints.

Responsibilities & achievements

The trading strategy was code and a backtesting work was done using the data stock prices got from the broker API. The bot was running on local and send the tickets thru the API endpoint.
