Key responsibilities included: Creating new unit tests to ensure code reliability and robustness, as well as developing new APIs to enhance system functionality and integration capabilities. I also played a crucial role in maintaining and updating existing APIs, ensuring their optimal performance and alignment with evolving project requirements. Collaborating closely with the frontend team, I was instrumental in resolving UI issues, particularly those stemming from backend complexities. My contributions were pivotal in troubleshooting and fixing backend-related problems, thereby improving overall system stability and user experience. This project leveraged Salt technology and Django framework, and my involvement required a deep understanding of these technologies to effectively contribute to the project's success.

I focused on integrating data from a legacy application into a new structure for version 2, requiring close collaboration with the frontend team to meet their requirements. Beyond feature development, I contributed to QA and occasionally assisted with frontend tasks, enhancing my overall project understanding and issue resolution skills. Originally brought on for my Flask expertise, I expanded my role to include database management (Redis, Postgres, SQLite), working with Kafka queues, and handling GraphQL queries and subscriptions. These experiences deepened my backend technology expertise, significantly contributing to the project’s stability and adaptability to business needs.

As part of the backend team, my job extends from python flask tasks with microservices to creation of MySQL tables and procedures.I had to work with modules like Cloudfront and Lambda from AWS, take care of the environments and crontabs hosted on AWS.
