Responsibilities & achievements

• Implementation of a third-party AI for conducting pricing experiments, which resulted in a 73.7% increase in subscribers and a corresponding decrease in refund requests in 2021. For this project, I had to work across multiple codebases, using PHP (Yii Framework) and Node.js (NestJS) while collaborating in crossfunctional teams within a microservices architecture. • Migration of the logged out Home Page from the monolith to Next.js and GraphQL without harming our core metrics and unblocking multiple projects in the product roadmap.

• Rewriting microservices from vanilla JavaScript to TypeScript. • Integrating third-party software such as AWS S3, Amazon Transcribe and Speechmatics. • Identifying and refactoring modules with redundant code and suboptimal practices.

• Maintenance and development of the company's main products using Laravel 5.4 and PHP 7. • Development of a bulk email sending system, using queuing strategies in Laravel, thus reducing response times by 99% within the application. • Implementation of real-time statistics tools for virtual events using socket.io on a Node.js server. • Implementation of programming standards and best practices within the development team. • Mentoring new team members to familiarize them with the software and internal processes.
