• Developed a custom loyalty app designed to offer variable discounts to customers based on their purchasing behavior. • Collaborated with a backend developer to segment customers into groups according to their order history, with discounts assigned accordingly (e.g., customers with over $1,000 in purchases over the last six months fall into Group A and receive a 10% discount). • From the frontend, designed a modal widget that informs customers how much more they need to spend to reach the next discount level. • Rebuilt the pricing display across the store to reflect discounted prices and ensured discounts were applied at the final checkout stage.

Responsibilities & achievements

• Developed custom collection filtering based on event dates, enabling users to filter products according to the date specified for an event. Utilized product Metafields in Shopify, allowing admins to directly input event dates for each product. • Implemented a workflow in the Shopify Flow app that integrates with Klaviyo. Extracted order information and, if an event date was present in the Metafields, stored this information in customer properties within Klaviyo. Initiated a Klaviyo flow that automatically sent emails to customers one day before and two days after the event.

• Addressed the main challenge of fully customizing the MBC Bundles app from Shopify to meet the client's specific requirements. • Enhanced the app's functionality, which allows merchants to create custom product bundles at discounted prices, offering flexible options for products with different variants and enabling merchants to set specific discount percentages for each bundle. • Improved inventory management within the app, ensuring merchants can monitor inventory levels of bundled products and implementing automatic inventory reduction once a bundle is purchased. • Utilized JavaScript to restyle the application, integrated it into a popup modal, and added custom product option selectors to enhance user experience and functionality.
