Cashback and promotion recommendation system
A system for cashback and recommendations is built and supported by the developers. It is connected to loyalty cards which are used by the customers to make purchases from merchants. Most importantly, the solution creates real added value for the customers. With each purchase, a cashback bonus depending on the product is calculated. Buyers also receive promotion recommendations, based only on products and contents they are interested in. The system has a microservice oriented architecture.
Georgi helped building a platform with service oriented architecture with each component hosted in Azure Service Fabric, which can be extended with additional servers. The services communicate with public web applications either synchronously via HTTP or asynchronously by buffering the request in Azure Service Bus or Azure Event Hubs. Additionally, the build and deployment process is automated with continuous integration and delivery, enabling more than one application update per day.
The platform provides the customer or respectively a marketing agency to distribute tasks to mystery shoppers, collect their feedback online, summarize the results, identify improvement actions and generate management dashboards and reports.
