I've been dreaming of becoming a developer since I first saw a game on an Atari 2600. For now, I have 17+ years of experience in software engineering and can boast of strong expertise in such programming languages as Ruby and Java. In the 2000's, I worked mostly with Java, developing web applications for companies in a wide range of industries—mass media, telecommunications, transportation, banking, and finance. In 2010, I switched to full-time Ruby development and am now enjoying learning things about the Ruby ecosystem as well as other newer web technologies.
