A service allows users to message each other privately or in groups, and work collaboratively on projects. The main advantage of Google Chat is its deep integration with other G Suite apps. This means that users are able to collaborate on Documents, Sheets, or Slides, upload items from Drive, or make group video chats in Hangouts Meet.
Hangouts Chat also features a number of bots aimed to increase teams’ productivity, such as Drive alerts bot or Meet bot that is connected to Google Calendar.
